We create the possibilities in sharing art and calligraphy education and high quality supply within its community, selling artworks, art supplies and private workshops. Founded in 2010, when the owner and founder of Martha Scribes, Yovi Martha Laurens decided to share informations and knowledge about how important education in creativity is. After years of planning and workshops activites, with
the requests from friends, she, her partner, Victor Laurens, and calligraphy friends in the city, finally started a nonprofit organization and open its door by inviting international instructors, and build up a pointed pen calligraphy and lettering community based in Sydney in 2019. We then continue to contribute by reselling a useful specific product collection for the pointed pen calligraphy, and lettering. One of the guiding principles of our work is that everyone should be able to enjoy art and calligraphy.
