I also tried this mould which I love but kind of hated the ex*****on so this one is probably for the bin. I used acrylic paint mixed with the resin for the mint green and it didn’t go well! I love the gold flakes though so maybe next time we’ll stick to mica powders and see how we end up!

I’ve been inundated with messages from scammers … easy to identify as they don’t follow the page and a group were asking if a half burnt Kmart candle was still available and willing to pay $100 for it … in theory obviously. I’m sure if I’d have given out my real info it would have ended in a big loss for me. It’s so disheartening that there’s people out there that are just looking to ruin people trying to generate a little side hustle.

The problem with cheap mass produced candles ….
I get it, I buy candles from Kmart all the time because for some reason I barely make candles for myself and sometimes I just want a candle going at night. And let’s face it, they’re cheap.
But often you’ll find the wicks are too small, so you never get a full burn. The fragrances are too weak, so you can never really smell them. The wicks end up so off centre, they never burn properly.
Handmade candles cost more because that person has spent hours testing wicks, fragrance strength and making sure every candle is a high quality one.
