We are now officially in a New Year of change. I personally am feeling comfortable and content to move forward in 2026

The Year of the Snake asked us to shed what no longer fit.
To slow down. To listen beneath habit and noise.
This was not a year of rushing change, but of understanding why change was necessary.

The Year of the Horse brings movement and momentum.
Where truth was revealed, now we act. This is a year of courage and forward motion. Of trusting instinct over familiarity. Of choosing freedom. Clarity turns into action.
Confidence grows through movement.

The shedding is done.
Now, we run. 🐎🔥

Guess who I caught up with today?🥰🌈 It was so wonderful to be in her presence again, after so many lost years! I didn't know where to look first! Her little shop of colour took me back to being a kid all over again, and that's a whole LOT of years ago🤣 Ana, my carer and I were given the whole experience, right down to the colourful packaging. We couldn't leave empty handed could we?! Sparkly shoe laces and some kitty stickers that look like my furbabies.

In addition, I found a gorgeous handmade crocheted rainbow rose off Face Book, Market Place yesterday. It was only fitting to include it in the photo. A very special little something for Milly from Milly & Rose.

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided I won’t be going ahead with the Easter workshop this year.

Milly & Rose has been growing (which I’m incredibly grateful for 💕), and I want to give my full focus to creating beautiful pieces for the shop and for my wonderful commission clients rather than stretching myself too thin.

The good news… I’m already planning something very special for Mother’s Day 🌸
I’ll be creating a collection of heartfelt keepsake arrangements and gifts designed to last — something Mum can treasure long after the day has passed.
