On ANZAC Day, we pause to honour courage, sacrifice, and service. A Day to remember all Australians and New Zealanders who have served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice, in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions. We also recognise the strength, resilience, and enduring contribution of all who have worn the uniform.
From the shores of Gallipoli to peacekeeping missions around the world, their legacy lives on in the freedoms we enjoy and the values we hold dearโmateship, courage, and perseverance.
As dawn breaks and ceremonies are held across the country, we stand together in gratitude and reflection.
Lest we forget.
