🌾Happy Tuesday🌾

Today I made sausage rolls from scratch, I made the pastry in my TM7 then rolled it out as thin as I could!

I then made the filling in my TM7 by using some mince I had left over from another dish with onion, herbs and leftover bread 🍞 (always keep your bread for this reason) I then lay the mince mixture down in rows on the pastry then cut and rolled the pastry over either side to make a sausage roll!

The mince is our own mince from beef we have butchered ourselves at home so it’s extra tasty (not grain fed crap you’d buy in the shops). - My dad is a qualified butcher and diesel fitter 😁

I also made a loaf of fresh bread 🍞 it will go towards lunches for the kids and husband as will the sausage rolls too! Great for an afternoon snack after school/daycare!).

Tomorrow we will make some vanilla yoghurt and stock up on our yogurt pouches, because everyone in my house loves yoghurt!

Have a great week everybody!!! 🫶🏼

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent a significant amount of time in the kitchen, where we prepared a variety of dishes, including chocolate custard, yogurt, pizzas, sorbet ice cream, bread, and cheese and bacon bread rolls. We also enjoyed homemade burgers for dinner, accompanied by the cheese and bacon rolls 🤩. Now, we are well-prepared for school and work lunches 🙌🏻.

Baked beans in the thermomix!

Buying them turned out to be $2 for 300g and that’s on special, we bought the beans for $1.40 per can and used basic ingredients from our cupboard, every little bit counts but we hope you enjoy our clip as we really enjoyed making it 😅

I made yogurt yesterday! Without the thermomix I probably wouldn’t of even tried it, it took me 10 hours all up but only cost me 1 litre of milk plus some things I had in my pantry. I’ll definitely be making yogurt from now on for the kids, the thermomix is not just a purchase it’s an investment!
