I spent my early years following what I thought I was supposed to do and then I looked around and started comparing myself to other’s goal posts. That didn’t go down quite well.
Now I have come to realise I am a late bloomer. I have much more clarity and surprisingly much more energy too. I feel like I am just getting started and it excites me everyday.
Like I haven’t experienced some of the best moments and experiences in life yet. This makes me want to keep going.

Fun aside, it highlights something that becomes more important as we age: balance, coordination, stability, mobility, and the strength to control your body. Those qualities play a big role in reducing the risk of falls and staying independent.

Whether you ace it or wobble halfway through, it’s a fun little reminder that fitness isn’t just about lifting heavier or running faster. Sometimes it’s about being able to do the everyday things with confidence.
