Not my normal content, but a really heartfelt message.

The road closures are killing me. I’ve had approximately 10 customers since Saturday. This is far, far worse than COVID, with no offset from the LXRP apart from a couple of measly signs buried within the site.

I can’t survive this.

I don’t like asking, but I have to.

Can you help me please. I don’t want charity, just please if you need to buy flowers or a gift, think of me.

My bills still need paying and right now, there’s no way I’ll be able to.

A slightly different post from me today.

Today I had a visit from David. David and his wife Jenny have been customers from the start, buying many gifts over the 9 years I’ve been in Challis St.
Jenny bought a handbag from my son Tom 8 years ago and every time she visited afterwards, she asked after Tom.
Jenny bought many baby gifts for people in the hood whenever a baby was born.
She was a piano teacher who taught many people over many years.
David and Jenny were avid gardeners who have the most stunning garden filled with flowers. Jenny’s favorites were white peonies, and I always got them for her when I saw them at the flower markets.
David told me today that Jenny passed away on Tuesday. She was 86 and had a fantastic full life.
I’m so heartbroken for him. Jenny was a firecracker and I’m sure his world will be quiet without her.
You’re all so much more than customers to me.
So here’s some beautiful white peonies for Jenny.
Rest in peace Jenny. We’ll miss you.

It’s going to be a hot long weekend, so I’ve just had a big restock of the Huski coolers!!!

The perfect way to keep your drinks icy cold, whether you’re staying at home, heading away or having a bbq with friends.

Whilst our doors are not always open, our phone is always on. We’ve been taking and fulfilling orders over the last couple of weeks. There’s been babies born, bereavements, birthdays and housewarmings. They don’t stop and nor do we.

Thats a wrap!!

2025 is over for us whilst we take a much needed break to recharge. I think we’re both at 1% right now.

We cannot thank you all enough for the incredible support and friendship as we wrap our 8th year.

We’re back the week of January 5, with Emma at the helm. Gill returns the week of January 12.

Check with Google for specific times and days, we’ll let the weather guide us a little.

You’re always welcome to call or text so we can make sure you’re looked after for flowers and gifting.
