Everlasting Floral Studio Hi, I’m Flick, grower and creator behind Everlasting Floral Studio.

I create naturally dried floral gifts, keepsakes and creative experiences that help you express what words sometimes can’t, through the language of dried flowers.

September’s Everlasting Act of Kindness has found its person.

Maddie nominated her dear friend who has a lot going on and many challenges as a single Mum

It’s a small thing, a little box of flowers, but sometimes it’s the reminder that someone is thinking of you that means the most.

I’m so glad this little project is underway, and I’m looking forward to sending a little kindness to someone new each month.

🌸 October nominations are now open.

Can you think of someone in your life who could use a little reminder that they’re thought of?

You can nominate a friend, family member, or someone else who you feel deserves a little kindness.

You nominate and Imake and send.

Head to the link in my bio to nominate someone.

I get asked this all the time…and i always have a little giggle 🤭

“Are they even real?”

Yep. They are.

Nearly Every flower starts out growing in my garde. I cut them, hang them up to dry, and leave them do their special thing.

They change as they dry, colours deepen, petals curl and stems twist and change .

They don’t need to be perfect. I actually love the little quirks that come with using real dried flowers.

So if you’ve ever looked at one of my wreaths or flower boxes and wondered…

The answer is YES. They really are real flowers. 🤎

Grown, dried and made by me here on our little farm.

A little update from me 🤎

I’ve made the decision to not do any xmas markets this year, and I also won’t be running any face-to-face Christmas wreath workshops this year.

It’s not a decision I’ve made lightly because I really do love getting out to markets and doing pcreative workshops, seeing familiar faces, meeting new people and having a chat all things flowers.

But at the moment I’ve got a few too many things pulling me in different directions, and I’ve realised I just can’t do everything and do it well.

So for the rest of the year I’m going to keep things a little simpler and put my time back into thestudio.

That means focusing on creating a really special end of year gift & Christmas collection,, and making them available to you online.

There’s also another little piece to this decision.

For the past five years I’ve been chipping away at my Masters of Counselling through Monash, alongside running this little business and being a mum.

I’m getting very close to finishing now, and it’s something I really want to focus on.

And who knows where it might all lead… One day I’d love to bring the two worlds together and create a horticultural therapy arm to this little business. Flowers, gardening, creativity, mental health, counselling all in one place. It’s still a little way down the track, but it’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while.

So for now, no more markets or face-to-face workshops for 2026.

But I’ll still be here, growing, drying and making, and getting ready for Christmas. My absolute favourite time of year.

And I’ll be back at markets and workshops next year.

Thanks, as always, for following along with this tiny little business of mine. 🤎

$45 for My little flower boxes, grown, dried and made by me here on our farm.

Every single box I make is one of a kin and You’ll never find two the same.

It includes the flowers, handmade posy, gift wrapping and your message.

Most importantly, it gives someone a little reminder that you’re thinking of them and a gift with a lot of meaning.

My little flower boxes are made to be kept and enjoyed for a long time. 🌸❤️

I read this a few times when i recieved this lovely comment.

This was a wedding order, and seeing the flowers all set up like this was pretty special.

I spend so much time growing, drying and making these flowers so I love seeing where they end up.

And messages like this honestly make my day.

Thank you

Ordered from me before? I’d love to know how you’re finding yours.

Thank you September, Feeling rather grateful for where I am, for this amazing life and all the little bits n pieces that make it feel challenging yet fun & full.

Our recent holiday reminded me to slow down and enjoy where I am, while still being excited about where I’m going with my dried flower journey. I don’t need to rush it.

Learning to enjoy where I am, while still looking forward to what’s next. Yay and hello October !!

Buying dried flowers as a gift?

A few little things I think are worth looking at before you buy dried flowers .

Where are the flowers grown?
How are they dried? and what will they mean to the person receiving them?

The everlasting daisy is at the heart of what I do. I love that when you give one of my handmade gifts, it can hold a little bit of meaning too.

Save this for next time you’re shopping for a special dried flower gift.

I still pick lots of flowers for drying from our garden and large native bush garden, but this little cutting patch makes growing flowers for my work a bit easier.

I can protect them from the animals and actually get to pick them when they’re ready. Although my biggest threat is probably my 5 year old picking them all for her “shop”. 😂

It’s become a little productive patch of flowers, fruit, birds and bees that I really love.

There’s a bit of my story in all the dried floral pieces I make.

After losing Eve, I stepped away from work for a while.

I started growing flowers and making things. I think I just needed something to do with my hands while I was trying to find my way through the grief.

Everlasting daisies became really important to me during that time.

They became a little symbol of the love we still have for the people we miss. And they carry a little piece of Eve’s name too.

Somewhere along the way, this is how I ended up working with dried flowers.

And I suppose that’s why my story is kind of woven through everything I make.

I love that my flowers can sometimes say what we can’t.

And that feels pretty special.
