Only twelve Sabai Consoles will ever exist. Ten are now with their collectors. Two haven’t yet found theirs.
The Sabai was drawn from the stately arches of Renaissance architecture — the curve of a Florentine colonnade, the proportion of a fifteenth-century cathedral — reimagined through a contemporary sculptural frame. Handcrafted on the South Coast of New South Wales by our master artisans, every piece is hand-signed, individually numbered, and delivered with a certificate of authentication that anchors it in provenance.

These two pieces will close the Sabai Console edition forever.
Whichever you choose is also a quieter choice: whether the Sabai enters your home this season, or whether it is still yours to shape.

I remember that period very clearly.
I was stuck between two worlds and could not choose. Architecture — the Guggenheim, mass, permanence, the kind of object that holds its ground. Haute couture — lightness, drape, the suggestion of movement in something completely still.

I sat with and tried to explain what I was thinking. I remember feeling absolutely like a mess. Too many ideas. None of them ready. Self-doubt, then a moment of believing, then the thought that none of it was good enough.

Eclipse came out of all of that. Every contradiction. Every question I could not resolve.

Look closer at the base — the Guggenheim’s spiral is in there, absorbed over years and finally finding its way into a table. Look at the curves: extraordinarily difficult to achieve, months to perfect. Look at the carving: made entirely by hand, one of the most technically demanding things we have ever produced.

The day I looked at it finished, I was blown away by its depth. Not the depth I had designed. The depth that arrived on its own, out of the confusion and the doubt and the time.

That is the piece.

Furniture isn’t separate from art, from fashion, from the wider ecosystem of objects that carry meaning. That a chair isn’t just a place to sit. That a room composed of objects with weight — aesthetic, cultural, personal — is not the same as a room that has merely been decorated.

I couldn’t figure out how to put it all together.

Mid-century architecture. Walnut and metal. The kind of homes I have always loved — where every object earns its place, where nothing is decorative for decoration’s sake.

I knew what I was drawn to. I didn’t yet know why.

BOLD came out of that question. An organic, curved top. A thin beveled edge makes something heavy feel like it barely touches the floor. Materials that shouldn’t work together — walnut and metal, hardwood and marble — and somehow make each other more honest.

We released it in 2024 without running a campaign or organizing a photoshoot. No gallery presentation. No launch. For two years, almost nobody knew it existed.

That is when I understood what BOLD was.

Not a table that makes a statement. A table that asks a question: why are you drawn to this material, this shape, this particular weight in a room?

We are never drawn to things without a reason. BOLD is built on that belief.

Mixing materials — leather, walnut, and metal. The Coulee Daybed appears minimal at first glance.
But look closer.

It’s in the way the leather is sewn.
The precision of the piping.
The subtle presence of the buttons.
The bevelled edge of the hardwood.

Small details that quietly shape the entire piece.
What looks simple… is carefully considered.

Thank you and

Being recognised is rewarding. But it is not my compass.

Because if it were, I would feel lost. I used to seek validation. And it stopped me from creating — from being truly expressive.

Now, the win is not recognition. The win is creating something that will tell a story and that is what brings me joy. That is what feels deeply meaningful to me.
