Littlemilligan

Littlemilligan Bespoke furniture, sculptural steel, commissions. Ph: 0490 172 012. Deborah is a painter and printmaker. Together, we make magic.

We are Colin Little and Deborah Milligan – two Australian artists living in regional Victoria. We make bespoke furniture, sculptures, architectural steelwork, and homewares – using fine timbers, hand forged metals and great design we produce original pieces of power and beauty. Colin uses his blacksmithing and fine woodworking skills to create solid timber furniture, bowls, wrought iron work and s

culptures. His works range from delicate, paper thin wooden bowls, to gloriously organic architectural elements. Her finely tuned sense of design and contemporary aesthetic informs all of littlemilligan’s creations.

We really hope you don’t mind us posting more about the Briagolong Art Gallery’s fundraiser - but it is super important to us. And their annual Easter Art Show is shaping up to be HUGE this year.

There’s going to be heaps of incredible work from many talented local artists, with everything generously donated (either fully or partially) to support the gallery’s fundraising efforts to buy the building (check out our earlier post if you missed it!).

Deb has dug out some of her favourite paintings and marked them down quite a bit — so if you’ve had your eye on her work, now’s your moment! We’ve put images in the comments below.

It’s honestly such a good opportunity to pick up something beautiful for your home while backing a cause that gives so much back to our community.

Hope to see you there!

Good Morning Art Lovers!

Easter is next weekend, and so is our Easter Art sale! Opening for Saturday, Sunday and Monday 10 - 3, many wonderful pieces to be found as artists offer up works to help kick off our fundraising to purchase our beautiful Gallery!

Opening Sat 4th April in the 3rd Door Down, the same weekend as Jeff McNeill's exhibition 'Mind's Eye View', a great reason to head down and check it out!

We look forward to seeing you there! 🥂

Dear friends and art lovers. We are asking for your help with something very close to our hearts.

We have been part of the Briagolong Art Gallery since the beginning, 24 years ago. It has been wonderful to watch it evolve into the vibrant contemporary art space and cultural hub that it is today - shaping us as we shaped it.

Over that time the gallery has been sustained by dedicated volunteers and the generous support of the late Ros and Bill Annear. As a community we have built something truly special, with a reputation that reaches well beyond our region - all without external funding.

That connection runs deep for us. Many of you know that Littlemilligan once called this very building home, and it was a place where our own creative life really took root and flourished.

Over the past two decades the gallery itself has been sustained by dedicated volunteers and the generous support of the late Ros and Bill Annear. As a community we have built something truly special, with a reputation that reaches well beyond our region - all without external funding. An extraordinary achievement in a tiny rural town.

Now the gallery needs support to take its next big step.

The gallery has the opportunity to purchase the beautiful building it has long called home, securing it permanently for the future.

As a gallery community, we’re doing everything we can to make this happens - including this GoFundMe campaign.

If you’re able to contribute, even a small amount helps us move closer to our goal.

Donate via the QR code or here: https://gofund.me/1b48b677d

And, just as importantly, please share this far and wide.

Thank you!

Col’s latest creation, forged from copper and mild steel, holds a quiet kind of magic - a delicate hanging vessel that feels like it belongs in a fairy tale.
