A remembrance wreath, made here in North East Victoria and ordered all the way from Germany to Bendigo.

This one felt particularly meaningful to create.

There’s something special about a wreath. The circle represents continuity of love that never ends even in times of grief and loss.

And dried flowers make that meaning even more beautiful, symbolising everlasting love and remembrance.

A lasting way to remember someone ❤️

The Everlasting Active Kindness Project is now open. 🌼

Each month, I’ll randomly choose one person who has been nominated by someone who cares about them.

They’ll receive a little everlasting flower box, sent from the person who nominated them, with a personal message.

If someone has been on your mind lately, nominate them.

Nominations are open through the link in my bio.

Terms & conditions apply. Nominations can be made for someone anywhere in the world, however flower boxes can only be sent to Australian addresses. One recipient is selected on the 20th of each month.

Anyone aged 18+ can submit, regardless of where you live. The person you nominate must reside in Australia, as we can only ship the gift box within Australia address. Full T&C on my website.

I love creating my posies this way. I start with the dried flowers and let them guide me. This order was for a neutral-beige meadow posy.

I love making these as no two posies are ever the same, with what you receive being very unique and one of a kind. Each one is made by hand, with a little bit of natural wildnes.

We all think of someone we think about from time to time and wonder how they are going. A friend. A sister. Someone we care about that is loving half way across the world !!

Sometimes a small act of kindness is all it takes to let someone know they are being thought of, and could make a positive difference to someone's day.

What if we could spread a little kindness and act on those thoughts ?

Fresh flowers are beautiful and i really enjoy sharing them with other's and having them in our house for many many reasons. But I’ve found that dried flowers are a much better fit for how I love to create and for how life is with a young family.

I love the slower processof growing, picking, naturally drying and storing them away, and bringing them out when the right gift needs to be created.

I feel there is something special about creating a gift that can stay with someone for a long time. Dried flowers provide that everlasting reminder of the person who gifted them. A gift that can sit on a shelf, be noticed years later, and bring back a little reminder of the person who gave it.

And that’s why dried flowers feel right for me.

Fresh flowers are beautiful. But dried flowers do tell a different story.

Both kinds of flowers have their own place, and to me they serve very different purposes.

Fresh flowers are for the moment, like a celebration or a commemoration, while dried flowers can become something to keep and remember.

For me, that’s what makes dried flowers such a meaningful gift. Something beautiful to open whilst also being ameaningful keepsake.
