I made these pieces for TRINITY an exhibition with 3 artists, Debra Ansell, Heather Campbell and I.

This work seeks to capture images of water, land and sky in an ethereal, illusionary way. The inspiration comes from looking across the lake on watery, rainy, mistty days.

I'll be at Newcastle Studio Potters & Back to Back Galleries tomorrow from 11am. Pop in if you're out n about in Newcastle!

Trinity is the next exhibition at Back to Back Galleries commencing from Friday 8 May 2026. The exhibition runs until 24 May with the opening on Saturday 9 May 2pm -5pm with artists Debra Ansell, Heather Campbell and Marian Marcatili in an exhibition of atmospheric paintings and ceramics. Trinity is an exhibition of paintings that seeks to capture the ethereal quality of atmosphere, movement and presence.

Hi Everyone!
I have some arty ceramic news for you all.

Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May Tinkat Alley Art Studio is holding an event at Kilaben Bay Community Hall, Lake Macquarie, with the wonderful artists who exhibit at the Gallery.

There will be a variety of works from paintings in various mediums, formed glass, ceramics and more! I'll be there on Sunday showing a selection of ceramic works, past and present.

Also the following weekend 'TRINITY' opens at Back to Back Galleries, Newcastle, on Saturday 9th May 2 pm with Debra Ansell, Heather Campbell and yours truly.

We have been working away in preparation and are very excited to be showing together. I'll post an invitation below..

Debra has brought her love of horses to some beautiful, mysterious equines. Heather has created a menagerie of quirky humans and mysterious creatures and I have tried to capture illusionary and mysterious land and seascapes.... not to give too much away!

Don't forget Mothers Day! The TInkat Alley Studio Gift Shop and the Gallery Shop at Back to Back Galleries are now filling with special goodies for Mum!

So...if anyone was curious... this is the work that Garth Clarke and Mark Del Vecchio selected for the exhibition in Gulgong.

It was sent by post so I was just a little anxious that it may not arrive intact.

I was unable to attend for the whole week, but Max and I are travelling there for the exhibition opening tomorrow afternoon and then staying around for a short time to see some of the exhibitions and events in town.

The exhibition is being held at the Pioneer Museum, opening at 5pm with Keith Brymer Jones as MC ... so, very exciting!

Looking forward to meeting and seeing lots of FB friends and viewing all the other exhibits. It should be lots of fun! ✨✨✨

I was stunned but very excited to learn that my work is included in the World Stage Exhibition at Clay Gulgong next month.

Huge thanks goes to Garth Clark and Mark Del Vecchio for the selection as well as Clay Push Gulgong for the opportunity to exhibit with so many exceptional Ceramic artists., ✨✨
