🖐️ When we say “Handmade”, we mean it! Here I am whipping up a batch of cold process soap. You mix your recipe oils and butters with your lye water solution (or goats milk lye solution) until you reach an emulsion. Then you split your soap batter off into smaller containers to mix in your colours before pouring into the mould. Next, you let the soap sit. It’s usually ready to unmould and cut 24 hours later then it needs to be cured for six weeks before I sell it.
The entire process from start to finish is 2 days for preparation and making then another six weeks for curing, packaging and labeling.
