A single design move can completely redefine the way a home feels. 🤍
For our latest collaboration with , we reimagined this living space by lowering an internal wall to open the home to natural light and create a greater sense of connection inside the space and to the outdoors.
Behind the wall sits the existing staircase to the lower level, which remained in place, so the solution was to reduce the wall height to 1200mm. Our goal was to maintain function while dramatically improving openness throughout the space.
Additional stacker doors were introduced to the rear elevation of the home, drawing in an abundance of northern light and strengthening the connection to the backyard. Paired with a refined clean palette of updated fixtures and finishes, the result is a much calmer interior that feels bright, expansive and inviting.
