Birds with blossoms ! Inspired by my surroundings these came into fruition. Using my line drawings to create stencils,I have mo printed with slip onto a warm coloured clay for contrast. Gums , grevilleas and leprosternum flowers and a touch of whimsy!

NEW EARRINGS from their last firing today.
A return of some favourites in winter tones and some newbies. I wanted to make some earrings that reminded me of a soft comfy retro studded chair so here they are. And lots of new floral studs. The last kiln is about to go on now so I can unpack it early morning and assemble the last earrings ready for market on Saturday.

Birds, blooms and soft morning light. As per usual at the 11th hour everything is coming into place ready for The Great Artists Market.
It's always a long and steady road... slow hand making with 3 firings and many many steps to complete each piece of work. Drying time has been extended due to the cooler weather , throw in a kiln hiccup and you are looking at a solid month of work from go to whoa! I still have about 4 firings to go. Cross your fingers for me and I shall see you with my goodies Saturday week!
