I never thought of sharing something like this until recent times. But situations make us do things. So, here I am! Last year my artwork was featured in Coke Studio’s concert for which I received the Entry Pass of the magical zone. It was an incredibly proud moment for me, as I had been creating thematic artwork for at least one song from every season, hoping to be noticed by the brand. Being a huge fan of Coke Studio Bangla, I was so overjoyed and consumed by the happiness that I did not pay much heed to the ongoing global issue of Israel-Palestine back then at that very moment. But in the end, I am an artist by heart. Despite the recognition that meant the world to me, I felt deep shame and sorrow for the suffering caused to the Palestinians by my involvement in the celebration. Consequently, I decided to never make any paint strokes for Coke Studio Bangla again, and I stand by that decision. While I may just be a petty artist and I know this step doesn't even count, I still take pride in it. It may happen for someone to think that I am exaggerating things, but I felt the need to take a stand for what I strongly believe in.
