In this video, we'll show you how to make homemade yogurt that is not only easy to prepare, but also healthy and delicious. Yogurt is a versatile ingredient that can be used in a variety of dishes, from breakfast to dinner. And the best part? You only need two ingredients to make it!
Ingredients:
4 cups of milk
2 tablespoons of plain yogurt (with active cultures)
Instructions:
Heat the milk in a saucepan until it reaches 180°F (82°C). Stir occasionally to prevent the milk from burning.
Remove the milk from the heat and let it cool down to 110°F (43°C).
In a separate bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt with a small amount of the warm milk.
Pour the yogurt mixture into the saucepan with the rest of the milk and stir gently.
Cover the saucepan with a lid and wrap it with a warm towel or blanket to keep it warm.
Let the mixture sit undisturbed for 6-8 hours, or until it thickens and becomes yogurt.
Once the yogurt has set, transfer it to a container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
This homemade yogurt is not only delicious, but it's also healthy and packed with probiotics that are good for your gut. You can enjoy it on its own or use it as a base for dips, smoothies, and other dishes.
