“A girl has no name”

This line always makes me think about how easily we can lose ourselves while trying to become the person everyone else wants us to be. Sometimes, we hide our true feelings, change ourselves, or stay silent just to feel accepted. Over time, it becomes difficult to tell where the expectations of others end and our own identity begins. We all carry different roles in life, but beneath those roles is a person who simply wants to be understood and accepted for who they truly are. Maybe finding yourself is not about becoming someone new, but about remembering the person you were before the world told you who to become. It takes courage to let go of labels and expectations and choose your own path.
So knowing your own name, knowing who you are—is one of the most important things you can hold on to.

Went to Ocaso Skyscape today for my close friend’s birthday treat and it turned out to be one of the worst experiences of my life. The staff behaviour and management both were really off.

We first sat on the rooftop. They gave us the menu, then after some time a staff came and said this table is reserved, we have to leave soon. So we shifted seats. Later when we got up to take a few pictures, a staff member suddenly appeared and started saying if we don’t order we can’t take photos. What kind of approach is that? I’ve been to so many restaurants and never faced this kind of rule.

Anyway we stayed and ordered their special chowmein, oriental salad, two types of mojito, iced latte and a tandoori platter.

About the food… how can a restaurant serve food this bad?

The “special” beef chowmein had almost no beef. You’d need a microscope to find any. Just stuffed with egg, no flavour at all, only salty.
The kebab and tandoori platter (forgot the exact name) – the chicken gravy was okay-ish, but the rest had no taste. Salad and mojitos? Not even worth talking about.Also noticed the staff keep standing near the tables, making customers feel uncomfortable. And they start taking plates away before you’ve finished eating. Plus they were quite stingy while serving the food.

Overall, complete waste of money.I wouldn’t also recommend this place to any family — the environment is really uncomfortable. They ruined our day, especially my friend’s birthday.The rooftop view is nice, I’ll give them that. But everything else was just not good.
