Silhouettes: Celebrating 15 years
An exhibition by Muller Van Severen, presented by Apartamento ❤️

To celebrate our 15th anniversary, the exhibition presents 15 unique, life-sized aluminium candleholders.
Each form is an abstract reinterpretation of recurring motifs in our work, alongside shapes that emerged
from our earlier individual practices: chairs, cabinets, lamps, vases, and sculptural structures.

We’re very happy to announce our upcoming exhibition Silhouettes: Celebrating 15 years, presented during Salone del Mobile in Milan
in collaboration with Apartamento and Courtesy of Tim Van Laere Gallery, Antwerp-Rome ❤️

The exhibition, celebrating our 15th anniversary, presents fifteen unique, life-size aluminium candle holders. Each form is an abstract reinterpretation of recurring motifs from our work as Muller Van Severen, alongside forms that already emerged in our earlier individual practices

Each piece reinterprets familiar forms — reduced to their contours, to silhouettes. A large coloured candle crowns the top of each structure, introducing a temporal dimension. As the candle burns, the object undergoes a slow and irreversible transformation.

On the first floor of the exhibition space, you’ll find a special Apartamento x Muller Van Severen bookshop.
