DaCruz MotoSports

DaCruz MotoSports Local shop specializing in sport bikes, race bikes,off-road motorcycles, and EBikes!! And I have a very extensive background in the motorcycle community. lol

Hello all my name is Marllon DaCruz, I am the owner/operator of DaCruz MotoSports. It all started at the age of 7 when I fell in love with my first motorcycle. It was a friends Honda Xr50 dirtbike! Man what an awesome little bike it was!! I remember my friend and I getting into so much trouble/fun with that little bike. After that i was hooked every opportunity I got to either ride a motorcycle or

work on one I took it. Now fast forward several years, in my early twenty's I had the opportunity to become a MSF Certified Ridercoach. And I worked for the largest motorcycle training School in the state. Teaching the basic rider course to new riders as well as the advanced rider course for more experienced riders for more than 8 years.Till this day i still hold all my certifications and still teach occasionally. All though my efforts have shifted more towards the racing side of the sport i still enjoy coaching at the track! I am Currently working with a great organizations to bring motorcycle racing to the kids of south FL Sflminigp.com. I truly believe in what the company stands for and what they are trying to do for the motorcycle community!! I am also currently racing Mini supermoto with the AMA SouthEast SuperMoto in there mini class for sflminigp!! From a very young age i was very mechanically inclined and started taking things apart as soon as I could hold tools in my hand. I had a natural curiosity to see how things worked, I had to see what was inside what made that thing in front of me tick!! So naturally I started working on my own motorcycle and after a short time I realized I was really good at it and it became my true passion!! Since I grew up working on my own bikes it was only natural that my friends and neighbors would bring me their bikes to fix. So I started in my garage like many others turning wrenches and tuning bikes. After some time I had the opportunity to work in several shops in south fl tuning and building race bikes as well as doing powder coating and tons of customizing work, from LED lighting to after market upgrades. Its true what they say "if you truly love what you do you'll never work a day in your life!!!"
And I love motorcycles with every ounce of my being! When i'm not working on them i'm riding them, when i'm not riding them i'm racing them, and when i'm not racing them, i'm dreaming about them. So give us a call at DaCruz Motosports for all your motorcycle needs. Feel free to message us with any questions you may have about your bike or motorcycling in general. And trust that when you leave us your bike, you're leaving it with someone who loves it just as much as you do if not obsessively a little bit more!!!

Super cool facts!!! In 1851 a small community was formed on the banks of Brushy Creek, near a large round rock located in the middle of the creek. The brushy creek crossing at the round rock marked a convenient low-water crossing for wagons, horses and cattle. The first postmaster called the community Brushy Creek, but in 1854 the small settlement was renamed Round Rock in honor of this now famous rock. The “round rock” is located near Chisholm Trail Street in the middle of Brushy Creek.

Since the first bridge across Brushy Creek was not constructed until after 1890, the large “round rock” marked a good place for Native Americans, cattle drives, and stagecoaches to cross the creek. Wagon wheel ruts are still visible in the exposed rock between #2 Chisholm Trail and Brushy Creek, probably carved by wagon trains and/or wagons laden with stone from a nearby quarry. Chisholm Trail was once called Old Stagecoach Road. According to local legend, #2 Chisholm Trail served as a stagecoach stop.
