It's a chilly one tonight here at Feasts and Friends here at St Paul's Lutheran Church, Nundah, but don't let that stop you. We're pleased to announce that we'll maintain a regular presence here once a month as we figure out the changes to the business, it's close to home and we want to keep a presence in our local community. Leo is back on shop duty and his pick of the night is this huge bottle board which is looking for a home. We're restocked with leaf boards, and a few big platters/choppers. The big Jarrah board is still looking for a home, along with some more salt and butter plates. The Huon table is 100% Leo's setup tonight, and he's very proud of it. Brave the winter chill and come down to grab a burger or bratwurst from the food trucks, and chat with Ian or Leo about what piece of timber is missing from your life!!

Hey guys, tonight we'll be at Feasts and Friends at St Paul's Lutheran Church, Nundah. You'll notice we've been a bit quiet lately and we'd like to be upfront with you all that the last few months of 2025 and our return to the markets for 2026 have seen substantially lower sales than before. We've basically made zero profit from the market side of things since about August last year. Add to that the increased costs of travel to and from some of the ones not near us and it's simply become unviable for the moment to continue doing them. Tonight may be our last market for a while, as we reconfigure our business model and move to a more online and collaborative focussed approach with some local stockists instead - keep an eye out for updates on that

Aaaaaaaaand, we're back! First market of the year and where better to be than Sunrise Markets. Moving forward we'll be here the first Sunday of every month, but today's our soft restart. Reasonably well stocked - some large Camphor choppers in assorted sizes, plenty of Camphor serving boards too. The big Jarrah tapas board is still looking for a home, but it's got some little progeny on the table today - after 2 years of thinking about it, Ian has finally started making salt and butter boards - the little dish is where your seasoning goes, the flat bit is where your butter sits. They are about 15x10cm and will set you back $25. Bread knives, oil holders, pantry bags still in stock, plus a whole table of Huon serving boards. Here from 8am-1pm at the barracks, get on down and say hi to Ian.

It's our last market of the year, and we are exhausted. No, wait, that's meant to be excited! We are excited to be finishing out the year at one of our favourites - Sunrise Markets at Witton Barracks, here until a bit after noon.

A couple of bread knives available this morning, and another leaf board restock! One lonely Jarrah serving board left - will it be going home with you? - and some more freshies in Huon replenishing stock as well as our Camphor Laurel tapas boards, serving platters, charcuterie paddles and cutting boards. Plant propagation stations and oil holders, sawdust bags on the sustainable end of the table. Come down for a chat and see what we've got! All our handmade boards are single piece timber and are finished with our own all-natural board butter blend to keep them fresh and durable - and they're just what Santa ordered

It's been a while since we were over here at South/City/SQ with Db Market Group. Friday December 19th from 4:30 to 8 we're here just in the nick of time for Christmas. Last time we were here was Christmas in July!! We're somewhere towards the middle this time, under a gazebo on the palm tree side of the main walk. Lots of chopping and serving wares on the table - Jarrah, Huon and of course the Camphor Laurel range. There's the usual sustainability side too including pantry bags, oil holders and plant propagation stations. A few bread knives for the sourdough lovers amongst us. Leo's recommendation is this massive 'bottle board' for $120. Come down and have a chat to Ian (or Leo), they'll gladly help you fill those Christmas stockings!!!

Slightly different setup here this morning at Yeerongpilly Green Village Markets - we're out on the front deck of the building, facing the pedestrian crossing. We're rocking two tables full of all sorts of cool gear, bread knives are back in stock and conveniently so are breadboards. Big cutting boards and handled serving boards plus the usual bits and pieces too. Something to fit your Christmas stocking no matter how large or small the stocking or budget is! We're here until midday so get on down!

More bread knives fresh off the bench sander and ready for Yeerongpilly Green Village Markets tomorrow morning. There's no bandsaw jig or CNC machine involved here - Ian traces a template by hand, cuts it with a jigsaw and finishes each of these one at a time by hand and eye using only a belt and disc bench sanding rig. Priced at $40 they go fast, but we got a new pack of blades in, so we'll be sure to have at least 4 available available for each market between now and Christmas - keep an eye on our socials for where we'll be.

Let's do this! Sunrise Markets at Witton Barracks here we go - Sunday 16th November from 8am-1pm. We've restocked large general purpose cutting boards (yes with rubber feet) - no brisket boards this week as we had to cut yesterday's production run short due to the rain, but we have restocked oil holders, leaf boards, both sizes of jellybeans, and a few bread knives (they sell fast, get in early 😉). Still got those Jarrah boards and our Huon platters waiting for that special someone. It's getting close to Christmas, time to buy those stocking stuffers?
