What do you do when you're presented the opportunity to go to Spain and Italy, but you will miss your three favourite outdoor markets of the beginning of the season? I chose to go! 🛫

The "old" me probably would have said no. But, I now realize there is a time limit on the years we have in this life, and even if I see one new place every year, that's not that many places ... 🗺️

This is me giving you permission to take that trip, or follow your own personal dream. 💫 Life will still be there when you get back!

Picked up some pretty pottery stamps for my plain soap bars. I think they turned out very nice. 😊 This will be a new offering ready for May: 💙indigo💙 tallow soap scented with lavender, juniper and amyris. Working with indigo powder has been such a learning curve! Sometimes blue, green, grey or even pink!! This batch looks like it's actually going to stay blue. 😅

So much to get done today!! (Who else is in the thick of tax season 😭) But, sometimes you have to let your best friend talk you into taking a break. 🐶

The sunshine is so wonderful today! 🌞 Also a bonus that the road is not currently a mud pit. Take a moment to enjoy it! 🥰

Perfect cool weather today to restock tallow creams! Tallow frankincense face cream sold out last week, but I will have more for you this Saturday at Herrle's first ever Christmas Market. 🥰

POV from Day 5 of .fair: watching the Heavy Horse Competition competitors prance in and out of the ring.

My biggest takeaway from this weekend at the fair: the immense amount of work, dedication and loving care needed to show animals. My deepest respect to all competitors, from the 4-H kids to the Grand Champions.
