May 9, 2020 - Hugo returning from his morning walk.

Even though it's raining, I had to take my vehicle through the car wash. Seems as if I had parked under the flight path of returning migrant birds with gastric issues.

Spelling aside, let's remind everyone about another (continuing) failure of the Liar-in-Chief.

From a driving standpoint, there is much to like about MY19 Nissan Murano Platinum. Inside, it's another story. The week before we drove the new Altima AWD, probably one of the better vehicles we've driven this year. Loads of tech including Pro Pilot Assist which is sadly missing from the Murano. The Murano needs more than a refresh: at the same or even lesser price point there is a wide array of choice and value for cross-shopping CUV customers. While he Murano has done well for Nissan, the OEM has some serious decisions to make if this AWD vehicle is to survive and compete.

Have you ever wondered who comes up with the names of car colours? Me too! This is the 2019 Nissan Altima Platinum - the Japanese OEM's first AWD sedan - in Sunset Drift! Apparently, that is now a colour! While I may poke fun at specific nomenclature, there is nothing odd or especially amusing about this vehicle. Comfortable on tight turns and accelerating on highway on-ramps, this four-door vehicle aims to please - for all the right reasons. Sad thing is that it might make you forget about the once-revered Maxima.
