✨A NEW COLLECTION ~The Storybook Heirloom Collection✨

I am so excited to finally share this special new collection with you!

Inspired by beloved childhood storybooks and the great imaginative adventures, the Storybook Heirloom Collection features 6 lovingly handcrafted companions made with my favourite ultra-soft blanket yarn in what I believe are the most beautiful shades chosen for these Snugglers.

Designed to be treasured for years to come, these cozy Snugglers make thoughtful gifts for nurseries, baby showers, little ones, and anyone who appreciates the beauty of handmade heirloom pieces. Each one is carefully crocheted with love and attention to detail, creating a keepsake that brings warmth, comfort, and a touch of whimsy to any home.

The Storybook Heirloom Collection will officially be available to pre-order today June 6th where it will be making its debut at my 1st outdoor market of the season with at Watson Farms in Bowmanville, ON. Please make sure to go and check my feed for more details about this market. 🤗

All pieces are handmade to order with a current turnaround time of approximately two weeks.

🌸 Outdoor Market Season Begins This Saturday! 🌸

I’m so excited to be kicking off my first outdoor market of the season with this Saturday, June 6, ! 🤗

📍 Watson Farms - 2287 Hwy 2, Bowmanville

I’ll be bringing a beautiful selection of handmade crochet items, including our customer favourite, The Sweetpea Blanket. 💕

Behind The Scenes Lately! ✨🧶🌿

Life has been full in the very best way lately… winding yarn, crocheting away, preparing for upcoming markets, tending to the garden, and trying to keep up with all the springtime things around the house!

I may be a little quieter on here over the next couple of weeks while I focus on market prep for my events on June 6 and June 27, but I promise there’s lots happening behind the scenes for Anthea’s Style. 🌸

Meet Gansito the Silly Goose. 🪿✨

And honestly…he may just be the most charming goose to ever waddle off my hook. 🤍

The other day I gave you a tiny teaser in my story of those little crocheted booties . . . but TODAY you finally get to meet the whole goose himself!

From his sweet birthday hat, to his ruffle collar, to those adorable muted orange feet — every stitch of Gansito made me smile while creating him.

I styled him sitting in my daughter’s childhood rocking chair and suddenly it hit me…this silly little goose could fit into SO many special places. 🥹

And can we talk about those wings?! The stitched feather detail gives him so much personality. 🤍

Trying out the “yarn under” single crochet stitch technique with my Raspberry Streamline Metal 6.00mm crochet hook, using Bernat Blanket yarn in the colours Gold and Race Car Red, with Black for the accents on this new pattern today! ❤️🖤💛

✨Penny The Porch Goose … and her growing wardrobe.✨

I’ve just finished crocheting all of her sweetest accessories — a rainhat, raincoat, bonnet, and the cutest little neck bow — and I can honestly say she’s my favourite plushie that I’ve made so far!

Penny is made with one of my go-to yarns, Bernat Blanket Yarn, giving her that soft, cozy feel, and she’s lightly weighted so she sits beautifully wherever you place her. She stands approximately 19 inches tall and has the kind of charm that feels like she’s stepped right out of a children’s storybook. 🪿

She’s the perfect addition to a baby nursery, a child’s room, a cozy shelf, classroom or even a nursery school space — somewhere she can be admired (and dressed up, of course!).

It’s WIP Wednesday and I’ve just taken this gorgeous piece off my hook.

This pattern by worked up so beautifully and has the sweetest texture.

I can’t stop thinking about how perfect these would be styled on a couch, a cozy chair, or even layered on a bed… you know I have a soft spot for pillows. 🤍

I’m deep in market prep for two June markets, and I’m seriously considering adding a small batch of these to my inventory.
