Move over, pink sunflowers… there may be a new obsession at my crafting table! 💜🌻

After falling completely in love with my pink sunflowers, just look at what I found — these gorgeous deep purple beauties!

Of course, they had to come home with me. 😉

There’s something about finding sunflowers in unexpected colours that gets my creativity going. And this rich, moody purple feels so perfect for fall.

I already have a few ideas swirling around for these… now I just have to decide which one makes it onto the crafting table first!

🍂 A Different Take on Fall… 💙

If you’ve been following along, you may have noticed I’ve been having a little fun with the traditional colours of the season lately. First came the pink sunflowers… and now, blue pumpkins! 💗💙

I love the familiar warmth of classic fall colours, but sometimes it’s fun to look at a season through a slightly different lens.

For this wreath, soft blue velvet pumpkins take centre stage, surrounded by layers of blue, creamy ivory and warm golden foliage, berries, pinecones and trailing ribbons. There are still those beautiful touches of autumn throughout—just interpreted in a fresh and unexpected way.

Because fall doesn’t always have to be orange. 😉🍂

Handmade at The Crafting Table Wreaths, this is my latest different take on fall—and I have a feeling there may be a few more unexpected colour combinations coming from my crafting table this season.

🌸 And here she is… the finished wreath! 🌿

Those pretty pink sunflowers I shared a little while ago have officially found their home. 💕

I wanted this design to feel like a softer welcome to fall — something a little different from the traditional autumn oranges and yellows.

Pink and cream sunflowers are layered with rich burgundy foliage, touches of greenery and soft neutral accents, all arranged on a natural grapevine base and finished with a classic striped bow.

I love how the exposed grapevine gives this one a slightly airy, garden-inspired feel while those deeper burgundy tones quietly say… fall is on its way. 🍂

Because sometimes autumn doesn't have to be orange. 😉
