In love with Marian’s soaps.

As we move into midsummer, I need to send a shout-out to my hardworking stockists. In Nova Scotia Meguma Meadows Flower Farm of Bridgewater stocks several soaps in their beautiful King Street location. In Halifax, we have on Agricola Street with soaps and shampoos. In Fairview find us at Earth Body Elements holistic clinic. They have a collection of astrological soaps, based on the special herb associated with each sun sign.

Two locations in Newfoundland:. Point Pottery Craft and Art Studio is in King’s Point. The The Artisan Loft on Water St in St Johns is a well stocked shop of everything handmade.

Like to take a moment to introduce you all to my new ‘work wife’ Victoria Scully!

I’m Laura (pink shirt), and after years of growing and designing flowers from my home I opened a shop in Bridgewater last September.

Find us at 419 + 417 King Street, Bridgewater, Nova Scotia

That’s where Victoria entered the chat. Last May she opened Saison Pilates & Movement in the vacant spot next to me. Watching her and her husband Neil renovate the decrepit space I knew we’d get along great. 💕

Victoria is a comprehensive classical Pilates instructor with a passion for supporting bodies moving autonomously. She has a wide array of offerings listed on her website and offers a pay what you can community class on Saturday mornings if you’d like to explore her studio.

It’s so nice to come into work knowing she’s there and sharing the street with another woman owned business. She’s just a vibe and I love her!

On a personal note, I’ve also LOVED having the studio in Bridgewater this past year. I look out on the shifting waters of the LaHave every day from my desk and it feels like a novel.

Thanks for supporting our work and making our community fun.🙏
