Hello everyone! I wanted to put out a post to share who I am and why I started doing my own interior design company and little bit about my business!

My name is Alex Cassidy. I am born and raised here in Brockville and love living here by the water. I got into design by sort of chance but, now looking back I think it was fate. I have a BA in communications and media studies and when I graduated I started to work for a glass company designing glass showers. The bug got put into my ear to do this when I had one of my clients ask me if I was a designer based on the way I looked and the keen eye I had for just designing shower glass and offering advice on function and design of other aspects of their bathroom. I didn't think much of this until I really got into my studies and then remembered all the times I rearranged my own room growing up and always asking my parents if I could change it.

I set out to get my diploma in interior design a little over 2 years ago and this was a pipe dream to work for my self. However with starting my own company I can really offer everything to do with design! I can help with things as small as accent pieces, artwork, rug changes or things as big as a full house remodel.

There is a lot more to the story but, these are sort of the highlights! I really do have a passion for design and I like to make sure that at the end of the day my clients are happy with their results! Before and after of a project I worked on this summer!

I had so much fun working with my client Ellen on her families cottage. She was looking for help on upgrading the cottage and creating more of a modern cozy atmosphere. With some small changes and furniture upgrades we took the cottage to an elevated elegant and modern feel.

Looking forward to next summer working with her and proceeding to make small changes overtime that the whole family can enjoy!
