Stunning graphics are what you get with the Motor Freight Express sign. Single-sided aluminum, this would have been used on a 1940's delivery truck trailer. Measures 8' x 3'. Here is a sign you just never see. At least I've never seen another available for sale. It's an original entranceway sign from a Jellystone Park Camp Resort featuring Yogi Bear. Photos don't do this thing justice. All of the lettering in the upper portion is three-dimensional and protrudes significantly from the base sign as does Yogi's head. The main section measures 94" x 34" and the lower section measures 65" x 6.5". One of the highlights of my sale next weekend on the TheRealDeal101 has to be this incredible piece of original illustration art made for use in advertising by Bireley's Soda. Dating to the late 1930's, this oil-on-canvas piece was painted by well-known American illustrator, Gordon Victor Provensha and is signed by him in the lower right. Provensha was a commercial illustrator in the Los Angeles area from the early 1930's until his death in 1956 at age 47. This piece measures 26" x 24" and is framed up to 31" x 30" in it's original period-frame. This is an absolute stunner and essentially a 1-of-1 piece.
