Happy Sunday ! Little rainy in Calgary Today and a great day to have a snooze with my snuggle bum Benie the Basset Hound. Also been working on plants all week and need a day off. I have one more to do up and couple suncatchers then going to unbox the Dicrotic glass that is in this box and make something. Yahoo ! Cant wait ! hope everyone is relaxing and enjoying this Sunday Afternoon

Here is the Dichroic glass I spoke off ..this is 3 pieces and I have more in a package that I can’t open until my plants are all done .. can hardly contain my excitement. 🙂 love love love it ! I can’t buy anymore glass lol till next year ..

Hello Tuesday and Welcome ! I am still working on plant orders and made up this Cancer Ribbon heart in the middle of my day yesterday. The Lavender color ribbon represents all Cancers the size is 4 x 4 inches priced at $30. I am happy to make in any color you would like for the ribbon and clear textured glass. I plan on making a couple for every Chemo treatment I go to and give to people sitting in chairs next to me. Hopefully bring a smile to people that are fighting a good fight. I have been so blessed with friends , family and my neighbors that have helped with my lawn and shoveling snow. People checking in on me and asking what they can do for me and is everything going ok. AHS has been treating me like a queen from time of being diagnosed Oct 10 /25. In the hospital on Oct 12 with 2 operations on my spine in 8 days. A series of radiation on Brain and neck up to Christmas and Chemo started on Jan. 2 2026. Grateful and blessed I have God watching over me and a Angel sitting on both shoulders. Have a Fantastic day I am back on plant orders today :)

Hi Happy Saturday .. I have been missing in Action again.. My chemo treatments have been hard on me but I am putting up the good fight and will be half way thru next week. I get into my Happy Place as much as I can and have been working on Plant orders. I still have about 8 plants to make and I so grateful for that. I did make up this simple Planchette this morning wanted something new to share with you. I would like to do one also that has the Goddess Moon in the bottom part. This one I have used a Amethyst Jewel and Red Streaky glass with a purple the size is 4.5 x 6 inches and priced at $40. Happy to make in any color combination but I only have the Amethyst jewel in this size. Just putting out their I am taking Christmas orders but will be limited. Love to hear from you and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Happy Saturday ! Oh my goodness .. I have been buying glass .. first Photo is of Fuser Reserve by Oceanside and a beautiful Piece of Pink glass by Bullseye. Second Photo is all Freemont glass that is amazing ! Excited to say I have some dichroic glass coming next week will explain how that is made then. Also stocking up in glass as it is skyrocketing in prices in Canada. I have also been upgrading my studio with some ventilation and being much more careful with my lungs in my happy spot. Been organizing my studio that is spread across my whole house. look forward to sharing my beautiful fully stocked studio. This weekend working on Plants have been busy with my Doctors visits. I have a big shout out to AHS they have treated me like a queen and given me the best treatment. I am so grateful to all the men and woman that work in this field they are amazing people.

Happy Thursday ! I spent yesterday updating my website. www.alchemistinglass.ca These photos are from 1990 we had no cellphones and computers where all new and something I had no access to. I do have more photos but not as good as these ones , Photos do fade with time. These lamps are made on a form Worden system a company that is long gone. I do have about 10 forms and 25 patterns in this system. They are built in usually 6 panels and then put together to build the one lamp. They were very popular in the 80 and 90. I am going to build one in the new year for my son. I have all the glass pulled and excited to do another Tiffany replication.

Good Morning ! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I made this up on the weekend would be a great addition to a corner that needs some light and add a little ambience. The size of this lamp is 4.5 across and 11 inches high. I used a textured clear glass with bevels and a steel blue for highlights. All my lamps will come with a swag set and be already to hang. I have this priced at $240 and can be made in any color combination you would like. I will be working on that pumpkin I have spoken about and have some orders for plants to work on the next couple days. Enjoy the day !

Production of glass is amazing and this is why no two sheets are the same. Also why glass is so expensive and unique.

Wanted to wish everyone a fantastic long weekend ! I took a week off the new chemo I am on has hit me like a baseball bat. But back in glass room today and will be working all weekend.

Happy Monday ! I am showcasing my Fan lamps they add so much ambiance to a kitchen of a side table just about anywhere. The size of each is 10.5 x 7 inches and will come with the bases and bulb.
