Part of our intake process is to inspect our deliveries for pests. This is an important part of our process so we ensure we’re not passing along any unwanted hitchhikers. Also, it’s kind of fun to look at our new plant friends up close 🙃 🔍 🪴

The Japanese Global Pothos brings excitement as each new leaf unfurls. The colors range from lime green, mint green, to dark green on a creamy colored leaf.

Update!

Plantsie will soon have a retail location at the warehouse! You will be able to purchase plants, word sticks, and fun plant accessories only minutes from downtown. We will also be starting to offer (soon) single plant deliveries for your gifting needs in Calgary and Edmonton. Looking forward to officially opening!

Oh, and we’re thinking about also offering a good selection of rare plants like the one pictured (Monstera Thai Constellation). Is that something you’d like? Let us know!

Plantsie & Serendipity

We were recently testing new clear shelf covers to reduce the time needed to water our plants. The idea was that we could water as usual, zip up, and reduce the frequency in which we watered. As luck would have it, we concluded our testing with positive results just as the news of a water main break came out here in Calgary. We used to water once weekly, and now can water once every three weeks! This not only saves us time, but helps conserve water in our city during a shortage. We won’t say that the water shortage caused us to go down this road, but it did hasten our decision to buy covers for all our plant storage shelves. Talk about good timing!
