plaster, brushed silver and white sculptural accents — this is the material language running through The Drift House. Tactile, layered, never polished to nothing. Light was a major driver of the plan, shaping how these rooms feel as the day moves through them.

Foundation’s been poured, and we’re excited to watch this one take shape over the next few months. Stay tuned as the project develops.

The Glass House, North Glenmore

Inspired by the elegance of 1920s France, this home reinterprets Art Deco through a contemporary lens. Stained glass, sculptural detailing, and refined materiality with an elevated, highly considered sensibility. Rather than feeling overtly period, the influence is woven subtly throughout, from arched exterior forms to a curved marble staircase inside.

Reeded cabinetry, aged brass hardware, and a warm limewash palette carry the detailing through every room, creating a home that feels sophisticated, collected, and timeless, where craftsmanship, proportion, and detail take centre stage.

Nobody notices the curtains. That’s kind of the point.

When they’re right, you don’t notice the fabric, you notice the light going soft, the room feeling calmer, the walls sort of dissolving. When they’re wrong, it’s the first thing your eye catches.

Sheers for the ones that want the garden coming through. Heavier linen when a room needs to hush. A good pleat falling floor to ceiling does more than most feature walls ever will.

Thinking about a renovation or custom home in 2027?

Bring your designer in early.

The earlier we’re involved, the more opportunity there is to understand the project properly, develop the design and make thoughtful decisions before construction begins.

It gives us time to explore the possibilities rather than work within the limitations of a construction schedule.

It also gives us time to coordinate with your builder, work through permitting and procurement, account for lead times, and plan the project into our upcoming schedule.

Every project has its own timeline. What matters is giving the design process enough time to support the project, rather than trying to fit the design around it.

If 2027 is on your radar, this is a good time to start the conversation.

It’s easy to let designing a space and decorating it blur into the same thing. They’re closely tied, but they’re really two different jobs.

Design is what makes a space work. The layout, the flow, how it holds up to everyday life.

Decor is the layer you feel once you’re standing in it. The warmth, the personality, the details that make it yours.

Both earn their place. But the spaces that feel truly right are usually the ones where the design got figured out first.

The honest version of a day in the life 🤎 Don’t worry, we’ll still share the glamorous parts too, they make a good reel.

But most of the job is the stuff you never see: measuring twice, chasing lead times, catching the cracked slab before it reaches you, and holding the vision steady when the decisions pile up.

Not pretty. But it’s the whole reason the pretty part works.

Raw, quarried stone, warm vertical oak, and darkened metals come together in a material-led home you feel through its surfaces first.

We’re excited to document the process from the ground up.

One bold room > One bold accent wall

We could’ve stopped at one wall. Something moody behind the bed and call it a statement.

But the ceiling’s the fifth wall, and skipping it always shows. So we took the green all the way up and let the whole room go deep and dark. The wood floor keeps it warm instead of heavy, and the sheers pull some of the light back in so the contrast doesn’t feel severe.

An accent wall gives you one good moment. A room that fully commits gives you somewhere you don’t want to leave.
