I was set to go to the auditions today, but have been sick with a plague of a cold, so just can’t manage it. No big deal, these auditions happen every year. But… now I have this beautiful and delicious cake that needs a home.
This is a moist and delicious spice cake filled and topped with Swiss meringue buttercream and home made caramel sauce, with caramel apple “garnish” and sprinkled with toasted pecans.
I would love to give this cake away to someone who needs it for a birthday or event today, or for someone who needs some cheering up. You would just need to pick it up at my house.
