THE MAKER’S REDEMPTION – Silhouette Chronicles EPISODE 2

Sticker Day — Creating With Joy

Today was all about colour, creativity, and quiet joy.
I worked on a custom order for a client, and then kept creating —
stickers for my Bible, my diary, and a few new pieces for my Etsy shop.

There’s something beautiful about watching each design print,
hearing the Silhouette cut,
and peeling the stickers one by one.

It feels like stepping into a new season…
one filled with purpose, gratitude,
and God’s goodness in every detail.

And I love knowing that these little creations
will find their way into Bibles, journals,
and the hands of people who need a gentle reminder of hope.

If you want to start creating your own stickers,
I use Creative Fabrica for fonts, graphics, and design tools.

Creating with gratitude,
creating with purpose,
creating with joy…
one sticker at a time.

Just a little glimpse of the T‑shirts I pressed this week — simple, joyful creations made with love and gratitude. Every piece reminds me how blessed I am to create with my hands.

Today’s little behind‑the‑scenes moment still makes me smile.
When we bought our Silhouette Cameo 4 Pro off Marketplace, the seller mentioned he had a Stahls MAXX Press sitting at a friend’s house — unused, scratched by their cat, and forgotten because he preferred another brand. He told us, “If you want it, it’s free. Just pick it up around the corner.”

So we did. And this unexpected blessing became part of our creative setup.
This is the very press we used to make our first T‑shirt logo for 604Photographer, Riaan’s photography sideline hustle. A small beginning, but such a meaningful one. Every journey starts somewhere… and this was ours.

The Maker’s Redemption - Silhouette Chronicles My first Silhouette Cameo 4 Pro project… and wow.
Smooth, simple, user‑friendly, and honestly a joy to use.
Creating finally feels easy again.

Turning something ordinary into something beautiful again.
I took an old fabric shopping bag, stitched a soft chiffon cover, added a ribbon, and watched it transform into a handmade gift bag filled with grace and purpose.

A little reminder that renewal can be simple… and so meaningful.
Created with patience, gratitude, and a whole lot of love.

A little lavender moment today — soft colours, gentle strokes, and a calm process you can paint along with.
There’s something so peaceful about watching these tiny blossoms appear on the page, one stroke at a time.
If you’re creating with me, I hope this brings a bit of quiet joy to your day.

The next goal is the TOP 10, and voting is still open. Every single vote today helps me stay in the competition and move one step closer to the NewBeauty feature, the $20k prize, and that dream family getaway.

A little sunflower for today — simple, bright, and full of light.
I love how these tiny projects remind me to slow down and enjoy the small moments of creating.
If you’re painting along with me, I hope this one brings a bit of sunshine to your day.
