Blackberries picked right here in the Codroy Valley, turned into Blackberry Jalapeño Jelly… and then added to a grilled cheese on sourdough with Brie.

Sweet, spicy, creamy, crispy… this is a 10/10 grilled cheese! Trust me, you NEED to try this combo!

At our last market, we were asked several times if we had Squashberry Jelly. Well… delighted to say Brian was busy picking today!

Looks like I smell Squashberries in my future! And if you know, you KNOW… that unmistakable “dirty socks” smell we always talked about!

Now I’m curious… what did YOU call that smell?

Stay tuned… there may be some sweet and deliciousness coming your way!

What a day at the Corner Brook Civic Centre for the Fall Market hosted by 30-Six Productions! What an amazing turnout!
A huge THANK YOU to all my new and returning customers. I sold out of a few things and even ran out of bags and spoons! That says it all!
Big thanks to Janalee for putting on these fantastic markets, and to our son Jordan for being there with an extra set of helping hands.
You all made it a great day for Berry Patch Preserves!

What a day at the Makers & Gardeners Market in Codroy Valley!

I was too busy chatting and selling to take a photo of my table, but here’s a peek at the Apricot Jalapeño Jelly and Sweet Mustard Pickles and proof of a successful day: some of the 24 empty cases!

Thank you to all my wonderful customers, Justine for organizing, Terri and Mary for helping and all the amazing vendors. What a great way to kick off the fall market season!

Oh my… I LOVE to barter!

Today I traded a bottle of my Strawberry Jam for homemade sourdough goodies from Nancy Matthews — a loaf of sourdough, sourdough pancakes, and a piece of lemon blueberry poppy seed sourdough.

Absolutely DELICIOUS!

Be sure to check out Nancy’s homemade goodness. She sells in the Codroy Valley and Port aux Basques area. Nothing better than supporting local and trading a little sweetness along the way!

FALL MARKET SEASON IS HERE!

I’m excited for my first fall market of 2026, in Codroy Valley this Saturday, September 19, from 12–3 PM!

Check out the flyer for the sweet and spicy Berry Patch Preserves that will be available and details on the location.

Now the important question… which one are you stopping by for?

09/14/2026

This countdown is on! 🍂

The Autumn Market will be this Saturday September 19 from 12 - 3pm outside at the scenic Inn on the Grand 🍁

We are hoping the rain is all over with by then - if not our alternative location will be at Belanger Memorial School. 🍂

Our autumn market is one of the best because it’s harvest season! Come see what all our makers and gardeners have been growing & creating over the summer. 🍃

Vendors will be selling Baked goods, Fresh Eggs, Vegetables, Garden Preserves, Local Honey, Natural Body Care, Handmade Candles, Crochet, Handcrafts, Jewelry, Sea Glass Art & more! 🍂

We hope to see you there! ✨
