There is something especially rewarding about helping a builder create a home for his own family.

We are currently at the framing stage, and this is the critical moment where final plumbing locations, room layouts, and everyday functionality need to be confirmed. With a few last minute layout changes, it truly becomes a “now or never” opportunity to get things right before the walls are closed in.

I’m grateful that I was brought in to review the plans and help work through a few details that had been causing concern. Together, we found practical solutions that improved both the function and flow of the home, giving my client greater confidence moving forward. My sign went up today.

Custom home building comes with countless decisions, and my role is to help simplify the process, identify opportunities, and ensure your home works beautifully for the way you live.

Always a pleasure meeting with my clients during early morning on-site check-in days. Framing is now complete, and today we finalized the electrical and plumbing locations on site, along with confirming the gas fireplace placement. More exciting details to come!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mothers and mother figures. 🤍🌸

Today, my heart is especially full of gratitude for my two sons, Vincenzo and Andrzej. When my first son was born in 2005, I opened my own business so I could be present for the moments that mattered most as they grew up. What began as a dream of balancing motherhood and creativity became AVA INTERIOR DESIGN a company built not only from passion, but from love.

Many people do not know that the initials “AVA” were inspired by our initials: Ania, Vincenzo and Andrzej. From the very beginning, my boys have been part of this journey. Over the years, they have become my greatest supporters, my honest critics, my encouragement, and even my little marketing team behind the scenes. I am so grateful for all of their help, love and belief in me that helped shape my company into what it is today.

Today I simply want to remind them how deeply I cherish and love them. Being your mother will always be my greatest blessing and proudest accomplishment.

A beautiful few days of art, inspiration, and meaningful design decisions.

What began at a church art exhibit ad at The Kingsway Lambton Church, led to the discovery of the CANVAS here in Toronto, an inspiring gallery filled with vibrant, expressive works that truly speak to the soul.

Together with my client from Old Mill Road, we explored pieces that felt layered, emotional, and alive. My Client found The One! A stunning artwork that instantly felt right for her living room, bringing colour, depth, and a sense of calm energy into the space.

This is always my guiding principle:
When art makes you feel something you want to feel… that’s the art for you.

My Client’s new piece will now live beautifully within her home.

I love designing spaces that honour not only the home itself, but also the natural environment surrounding it. This charming 1950s backyard deserves to be thoughtfully revived for modern living while respecting its character and setting.
