Good day all!
Things slow down during the winter, I would like to share the latest drill cane.
This cane will soon call home, Petawawa, ON. the client requested a black painted maple shaft with a 20 mm brass casing with the RCD cape badge topped with the MWO rank, a .50 Cal casing with the projectile for the tip.
I hope the recipient will enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Good day all

It's been a wile that I posted my last project.

Here my newest drill can. The client requested a makore wooden shaft for this cane, a polished steel 25 mm shell with the RCEME cap badge on the side topped with the MWO rank and a stainless steel ice pick for the tip.

I hope the recipient will enjoyed it as much I did making it.

Good day all

This one will be calling Cape Breton home soon.

The client vision on this drill cane was based on the Unit where he works. The project started with a padauk wooden shaft topped with a polished steel 25 mm casing, a WWII Unit button on top and the Cape Breton Highlanders cap badge, a stainless steel ice pick for the tip.

Good day all!

One more completed drill cane.

The client requested a padauk shaft, a 25 mm polished steel casing for the pommel with a WWII king's crown RCCS cap badge topped with the Lineman's lapel pin, and a stainless steel ice pick for the tip. This commission will make it's way to Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta just before the holiday season.

Good day all

Here the latest drill cane commissioned by a RCD member, this cane will shortly make its way to Petewawa.

This cane shaft is turned like the shape of a gun barrel, painted black, topped with a gun blued 25 mm, the RCD cap badge and the MWO rank, the tip is a polished .50 cal casing and projectile. This cane will be delivered just in time for the Unit celebration. I hope the recipient will appreciate it!

Good day all

Here is another finished project.

The customer requested a drill cane that would represent his dual occupation. I use padauk for the shaft with the Rocky Mountain Ranger cap badge, a 25 mm polished steel pommel topped with a RCMP collar dog, and for the tip, a stainless steel ice pick.

Hope the client will enjoy it for many years.

Good day all

Here is another drill cane, much different from the past one.
Someone asked me if I was able to produce a cane for the Armour Corps brother out there. It took me 3 weeks to perfection.

Cane made of maple painted glossy black topped with a 25 mm gun blue shell for the pommel with different cap badges and ranks and a brass ice pick for the tip.

Good day

Here is a new one for me.
A friend requested a wooden freedom sword for a DWD gift for a soon to retire member.

This sword pommel and guard is made with roasted maple, the handle and blade is made with maple. A RCE cap badge on the pommel.

I hope the recipient will enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Here is another project drill cane and rack combo.
The client requested: A drill cane with Padauk wood with a polished 25 mm casing for pommel topped with a MWO rank and the SIG collar dog on the side, a stainless steel ice pic for the tip.
A horizontal wall mounted rack made with curly maple and a laser engraved shield with the SIG cap badge.

Here is another completed project.
The customer chose walnut for the shaft and pommel. The pommel is top with the logistics coin, a stainless steel collar with the logistics cap badge is used to join the pommel and the shaft, an ice pic is used for the tip of the cain.
