Saturdays are for SLABS & SAWDUST!! Thats exactly what Jim Guerin and Justin Pelletier were up to. Restocking some gorgeous figured sugar maple 🍁 and oversized balsam poplar slabs. Ready for air drying, prior to a full kiln cycle then sanitation🌡heat 🥵 to kill all those bugs 🐛 Stay tuned to find out, where will these slabs end up? 🤠🫎⚒️

BIG TIMBER TUESDAYS!! When it comes to making BIG TIMBER and oversized slabs, 💪 it takes BIG saws, BIG trailers, a BIG SAWMILL & BIG equipment to safely handle and manipulate some of these logs. With some logs Weighing in UP to 5,000lbs, there's no room for error Jim Guerin & Justin Pelletier always take the time for a safety 🦺⛑️ talk and a solid plan prior to any heavy lifting.

Jim Guerin and Justin Pelletier have been busy making sparks⚡️ and saw dust fly, From sharpening ⭐️saw mill blades for our local sawmilling friends to sharpening chainsaw chains for the local arborists, hobyists and our very own local forestry 🌲companies. They even made some time to shape up a few custom mantles for our newest members Schuyler Guillemette , as well as Cathy Mieyette we cant wait to see your final product!! Happy Friday all!!🤠⚒️🫎

With the recent polar 🥶 vortex and -40 degree northern Ontario weather, its no wonder Justin Girard and Jacque Lemieux wanted a custom mantle to warm up by the fire place 🔥 Claude Guerin also sent us these pictures of his custom black walnut countertops while dreaming of warmer days in his RV. great job to everyone.
