Sometimes a job means a little more. ❤️

This wonderful customer I did work for this summer recently lost her brother, the last of her two siblings. She had held onto this newspaper from 1955, telling the heartbreaking story of losing their mother as children — including the headline, “Girl, 9, to Take Over as Mother.”

I wanted to do something special for her, so I had this piece of her family history professionally framed by Haliburton Photo and delivered in time for her brother’s funeral, where she plans to read from it.

Now it’s preserved to hang in her home and be treasured for years to come. ❤️

Today I got to take part in releasing some baby snapping turtles 🐢. The momma turtle had laid her eggs infront of my glass shop and so I called the Turtle Gaurdians Turtle Guardians and they came right away to collect the eggs ! Fast forward and 5 days ago these little ones were hatched , they reached out to me and asked if I wanted to be apart of the releasing the babies into the wild today! 39 baby turtles in total and released into the same lake their momma came from 🐢 🩷 Next spring make sure to reach out to Turtle Guardians if you see a turtle laying eggs or a nest and give these little fellas a better chance at survival
