When the ‘quick’ afternoon dip at the lake is so fun that you lose track of time, get caught in road construction, miss tennis practice and lose the window where the kids unpack the car and hang up their wet gear.
Instead they literally dumped all the wet gear onto the deck to get it out of the car so we could load up for the next round of sports, and we dealt with it all at the end of the day 🫠 ah summer, I wouldn’t have it any other way, love these days! ☀️ well maybe less road construction

IYKYK and if you don’t, well, trust me you’re not missing anything 🫠
The amount of times I’ve sent pictures of clothes asking “does this belong at your house or mine?”
Or
“We can’t find this, can you check your house!”

It’s not overkill, it’s lightening the mental load and micromanaging with a lil’ ‘ol label.
And the kids can even stamp their clothes themselves!

Schools out for summer! 😎

Take 20min, group all their scribblers and art work, even everything they’ve brought home throughout the year, and pick a few favs that you’ll either frame and display in your home or will go in their memorabilia bin.

Don’t over think this; no one’s coming back to look over their elementary/middle school history or science notes.

There are 4 areas of your home that make or break your sanity:
1- basement / storage room
2- entryway (mud room/laundry room)
3- garage / storage shed
4- kitchen

If these areas in your home aren’t in order, and functioning and flowing well, you’re always going to feel like you’re on the spin cycle 😵‍💫😩

Take action.
