Finally! Inspiration struck. I started with a black teardrop and purple ribbon and flowers. It didn’t speak to me, so today I hauled out the black and white. It’s not finished, but I like it. You are seeing the top and bottom of my gothic Halloween piece.

What the heck happened to Janice? I had such grandiose plans for the summer. As I am not doing any shows, my plan was to create a piece every day. I have created nothing.

A little more about why. My creative juices seemed to dry up. A factor might be that I have been involved in an ongoing police matter, as an observer/witness.

Police have visited several times for statements, with follow up telephone calls, and forms to fill out. I may have a court appearance in the fall.

I hope this is all of it for now. This is all I am going to say about the matter.

Looking forward to a better August.

I recently attended a video bow workshop. I love doing bows so I will start with a few holiday ones. It’s not too early for custom Christmas/holiday orders.

Cuteness for Saturday. My creativity switch seems turned off. I just haven’t been able to visualize anything. This too will pass. I need to prepare for fall and holidays.
