This one has been close to our hearts for a while.
Our Westdale Tudor Revival is live on RUE today — a 1930s home that had lost much of its original character after years as a rental, and one we had the privilege of thoughtfully bringing back to life for Hillary and Ben and their two kids.
Instead of defaulting to open concept, we chose to respect what was already there — preserving real rooms, restoring architectural moments, and introducing a new addition that supports how the family actually lives.
The brief was rooted in real life: Canadian winters, school runs, muddy boots. So we built around that — a kitchen that feels architectural and grounded, a 20-foot mudroom that actually works, and a layout that flows without losing its sense of structure.
What we’re most proud of is how it felt the moment it was furnished — calm, layered, and lived-in. Not staged. Not forced.
So grateful to Kelli Lamb and the RUE team for the feature. 🤍
