🌾 GARDEN SWAP 🌾
I didn’t know if this idea would go over well or not but I’m so happy to say that it definitely has and I’m having so much fun with it that it will continue during this harvest season!

🥕WHAT TO DO:
Bring in any variety of garden fresh produce/herbs/flowers/pumpkins that you deem of equal value to swap for one 8oz candle! Yes, it’s literally that simple!

🫛WHATS ACCEPTED:
Honestly, pretty much anything!
We’ve received carrots, beans, potatoes, zucchini, spaghetti squash, onions, cucumbers, beets, dill, chives, cabbage, squash, kohlrabi, a pumpkin, flowers, and even farm eggs and honey!

🧅WHEN:
We are still running on summer hours but if you want to stop by when we are “closed” just send me a message, I’ll probably already be at the studio!

We’re working at the studio again today so we decided to open again! Stop in to smell some candles, find a new book, try out a new flavour of latte syrup, or stock up on freshly restocked caramels!

We’re doing some work at the studio today so if you find yourself looking for something to do come stop by! Browse the candles and books or even participate in our garden swap!

Bring in garden grown veggies/fruit/herbs/flowers/goods and swap them for one 8oz candle! Yes, I genuinely mean you can walk in with a bag of potatoes and walk out with a candle of your choice!

A full restock of one of our fastest selling items just came in! These won’t last long though!

HOW TO:
Mix 2 tablespoons of latte syrup with 1 cup of milk and enjoy over ice or steamed!

FLAVOURS:

Yes, you read that right! For the next week or so I’ll be trading 8oz candles for locally grown vegetables, fruit, flowers, and herbs!

Bring in a bundle of garden goods (whatever you think is an equal trade), pick a candle scent (I can help find something you’ll like!), and we’ll both enjoy our new goodies!

Wow, wow, wow! What do you mean summer is over and pumpkin spice season is already here!? I’m definitely running behind (taking care of Sully for most of August + the mini renovations really made August pass in the blink of an eye!) but I did manage one final Summer Collection restock that’s available now!🕯️☀️

I had the exciting opportunity to pour mini wedding favour candles for two couples this summer and I love how they both turned out! 💍🤍

The early stages of my garden—it’s unruly and completely taken over now but it’s where I spent 90% of my free time!🪏🪴

Oh, hey, that’s me checking in on the garden for the 4000th time just to make sure everything was still growing!

I grew several types of flowers this year (you can peep the snapdragons and calendula in the background) but these lavatera stole the show for me! Obsessed!

We can’t forget the massive 800 candle order that I worked on all of July! The shipping was a nightmare but they thankfully arrived mostly unharmed and are making their way to their new homes right now!

A local entrepreneur opened up a mini pop-up coffee shop at her family’s restaurant and she made one of the best coffees I’ve ever had! I cannot wait to see what she does next year!

My tomatoes are starting to ripen and I can’t wait to have way too many and panic can as many things as possible! 🍅 🍕🍝

The mini renovation that turned into completely changing up the layout of the studio! If you’re local…you’re gunna wanna stop by to see everything that’s changed! 📖🕯️🫧

🚨STILL CLOSED🚨
In true renovation fashion, things are taking a little longer than we originally planned so we will need another day or two.

However, in the meantime, Sully, our sweet boy that everyone loves to snuggle, had to undergo an unexpected major surgery and will require several days of very careful recovery.

I’ll be taking the week to monitor him and make sure everything heals correctly and to give him all the love and attention he deserves.

If you need anything, just send me a message and we can schedule a shopping appointment, or you can order online with free local pickup.

🔨 MINI RENOVATION 🔨
We need to do a couple touch-ups and a mini renovation at the studio before the busy autumn season begins so our open hours are going to be a little sporadic for the next week!

We will be closed:
- Friday, August 7th
- Saturday, August 8th

Hopefully back to regular hours by next Wednesday, but I will post an update if anything changes!

If you need to come in for something (forgot to buy a gift or desperately need a new book) just send me a message and we can set up a time for you to stop by! Or you can order online with free local pick-up!
