I had the best experience at the Mètis Market and Art Walk. Met some great people, learned lots and got to connect with the community and artisans. Was surprised at how many people came out to support the market & even got to see some loved ones who came out to support as well. Such a wonderful surprise. Should have got some photos! Probably won't be my first and only market ✨

We are bringing back our historic Art Walk event this summer! ArtWalk is visual artisan and crafter event to promote local artists and sell local art. To inspire community connection and cultural appreciation by bringing people together in Red Deer's Downtown core through a vibrant celebration of local art, creativity and expression.

ArtWalk will be held August 29, 2026 at the old Buffalo Hotel site situated 50 Ave between 50th and 49th Street.

These pieces were created in honour of awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit people. The red carries deep meaning—symbolizing both remembrance and the lives that should never be forgotten.

Art can start conversations where silence has existed too long. My hope is that this work encourages awareness, reflection, and respect for the lives behind this movement.

No more stolen sisters.

Awareness matters. Naming this crisis matters. Remembering matters.
