From Ontario to the Sun Bleached Hills of the Canadian desert 🏜️✨

Sometimes a single moment in a new place changes your creative direction completely. Moving west in the spring of 2019 opened my eyes to a whole new world—the fresh scent of the wild sage, the warm glow of the hills and the fascinating, fast moving hummingbirds that instantly stole my heart.

That sense of awe became the heart of an entire collection. Every brushstroke in this series holds a piece of that spring transition and the quiet wonder of starting fresh.

I made a big mistake and I could use your help to find this painting’s forever home.
I have been trying to sell this painting for over five years now…because I assumed the person who suggested it would purchase it upon completion.
Needless to say, I was disappointed.
Lesson learned 🤷🏻‍♀️

I made a big mistake and could use your help finding this painting’s forever home.
When someone suggested I paint something very specific I assumed they would also purchase it upon completion.
Well, they were no longer interested in purchasing and needless to say I was disappointed.
One of the many learning lessons along the way.
