I've always been crafty, but lately I've been drawn to the older, antique and simplistic style of decorating. Given the choice to dress up and go out for dinner and a movie... or throw on my sh*t kickers and tramp through a dirty old barn, looking for treasures, I'm off to the barn! (You'd be amazed at what I can fit in the back of my SUV.) I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to do

what they love to do, for a living; but most of us aren't in a position to. Most of us aren't fond of our "real" jobs, but we go out of necessity and obligation to our families. I've found a way to do both, because let's face it, I need to pay for my projects somehow! People often ask me, how I find the time to do "this" with my already crazy, busy life... For me, it's simple. All of "this" brings me joy, and when something makes you that happy, you can't afford not to!
