They said we wouldn’t last.
They tried to assimilate us, to erase our language, our culture, our history. The British debated whether the people of New France should be allowed to remain at all. They wanted us gone. And yet—we remained.

We were never meant to survive, let alone thrive. But we did more than survive—we built something new. We forged a nation.⚜️

Now, history threatens to repeat itself. The President to the South suggests making Canada the 51st state. A tariff war tests our resilience, but we’ve been here before. And just like before, we will not break. We will not bow. We will not be absorbed.

These limited-edition teacup candles burn as a reminder of our unshakable strength. The depictions of 16th century London houses—homes of a foreign empire—mirror the ones built in New France when we first arrived with nothing but determination. We took their structures and made them ours. We took their rule and built something stronger. No empire, no law, no foreign power could ever define us. We defined ourselves.

Earlier this week, I shared a story about my grandmother—a woman whose love and legacy still burn brightly in my heart. I never expected how deeply it would resonate. ✨❤️

One of our customers reached out after seeing that post, moved by the idea of preserving a memory in the glow of a candle. She asked us to fill her own grandmother’s teacup with light, turning something treasured into something eternal. ☕🕯️

This is more than wax and wick. It’s the warmth of the hands that once held this cup. It’s the quiet moments, the shared laughter, the love that never fades, casting warmth even in the darkest moments. 💛🔥

💫 Some love stories never burn out—they glow, they linger, they live on. 💫

I created this candle with no idea how much it would transport me back to my grandmother’s home. The soft blend of Rose, Lavender, and Vanilla filled the air, wrapping me in the warmth of her presence. It wasn’t just the scent—it was the way it felt like her, like love that never truly leaves. ❤️

She spent 20 years carrying the memory of her one true love, my grandfather. They weren’t just partners—they saved each other from the unimaginable, their bond unshakable, their love everlasting. Even after he passed in 2004, he was still there—in her words, in the quiet moments, in the love she carried with her every day.

I originally planned to sell this candle, but after experiencing just how deeply it reminded me of my Mama, I knew it belonged elsewhere. Instead, it will be gifted to family, where her story continues.

Because some love stories never fade. They glow. They linger. And they live on. ❤️‍🩹
