Floor Covering Installer's Wanted!

Aries Flooring Limited. - Lower Mainland, British Columbia.
Job Type - Full-Time
Wage: $20 - $50/hour, pay depending on experience. 40 hours per week.
Transportation: Expectation is you're able to drive to site or get transport to site. Often times the jobs can be outside of transit hubs.

Aries Flooring Limited. is an established flooring installation company operating out of the lower mainland, BC. We do work Province wide but also Canada wide.

We are looking for professional, experienced and reliable floor covering installer to join our team.

Location of work: Currently downtown Vancouver.

Terms of Employment: Looking for part-time and permanent positions.

Job Duties Include:
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
• Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
• Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings/vinyl plank/carpet tile/rubber floor/sports floors/wall cladding.
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
• Prepare floors for installations
Additional Skills
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50-pound loads
• Physically demanding with bending, crouching, kneeling
• Effective interpersonal skills and team player
• Valid drivers license and own transportation
• Own hand tools and PPE (we provide specialty tools)
• For Journeyman wages you'll be expected to know all installation and subfloor corrections and have transportation/tools.
Required education: High school or equivalent

Language of work: Well-spoken English

We need qualified installers who can meet North American Floor Covering Installation guidelines. Installation of Flash Coving, Heat Welding.

Local hires, no LOA/Accomdations at this time. Payroll positions available and potential for sub-contract.
