This April, we’re proud to once again welcome our community to National Wildlife Week at The Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary—a free, family-friendly tradition celebrating the conservation legacy of Jack Miner, one of Canada’s earliest champions of wildlife protection and international cooperation for migratory birds.
For generations, this week has been about more than education and exploration—it’s about connection. Connecting families to nature, and our community to a history that helped shape modern wildlife stewardship.
Join us throughout the week for interactive experiences, family activities, live demonstrations, and special weekend features—including bird shows, local vendors, and our Saturday Sportsmen’s Yard Sale—a must-visit for outdoor enthusiasts and treasure hunters alike.
