As the days get shorter here, I keep coming back to how much more time we spend inside, and how a home starts to ask a little more of us this time of year.
This is also the season I hear a familiar hesitation, usually said quietly. My project is too small to bother a designer with. I only want to sort out one room. Honestly, that is one of my favourite places to start. A single room you use every day, made to work properly, changes how the whole season feels.
You do not have to hand over the whole house, or have it all figured out first. Sometimes the most useful thing is simply someone to help you see a room clearly and decide what to do first. That is exactly what an in-home visit is for. We sit down, talk about how you actually live, and start there.
