I'm Susan, a multidisciplinary artist and designer from Canada. I am in the business of encouraging out-of-the-box thinking, one creative art project at a time. I thrive on using my imagination, and love getting my hands messy. I create with a variety of media such as paint, fabric, recycled materials, natural fibers and socks. You wouldn't believe what you can create with a pair of socks, it's in

credible. I survive on coffee, humor and cursy words. Now, don't be offended, every maker has a few favorite swear words in their arsenal. I, only use mine when it's an appropriate response to a given situation. (Insert cheeky grin here)

Hello friends. 👋

For the last fifteen-plus years, it has been my dream to own an art studio. A place where other creators could meet up for coffee and crafts, and of course a space big enough for me to instruct workshops in. Unfortunately, with the increased cost of living, lack of financial resources/support, and my advancement in age, I don't see that happening this lifetime. 🥹

I need to be realistic. ⏳

I've decided to put all my energy into writing. Several WIP's are yelling at me from the sidelines to finish them. The books I've already published are impatiently waiting for me to promote them. And, the writing muses are going stir-crazy. I think if they could kick me in the ass they would. 😆

Since writing doesn't require a lot of physical space, or upfront financing, it is the more logical, creative outlet for me to pursue. Besides, as you can tell by this post, I love writing.😁

All of this to say... I will be deleting this page on August 4th. Thank you for your follows, comments and shares. I appreciate you. ❤️
